Court Has No Jurisdiction to Hear Custody Case Before Child is Born

A NY appeals court rejected a lower court ruling against a pregnant mother that had moved to NY from California.  The court has no jurisdiction over a child's custody before birth.  The mother cannot be prohibited from moving freely from state to state.  The lower court ruling is rather shocking.

  1. Thanks for sharing, and I've been helping my sister look for a lawyer in Burnaby. If anyone has of any that they would recommend then that would be great, because we're having a little bit of trouble looking.
