As a part of a law and literature seminar we have been asked to read a story by Balzac entitled "Colonel Chabert" set in France in the early 1800's. One of the characters, Darville, is a young lawyer in Paris. Some of his statements are priceless and apply to lawyering even today:
Be humane, generous, philanthropical, and a lawyer, and you are bound to be cheated!
Congratulations! This is the best thing, Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a nice information.
